Freytag's Triangle: Dune

The book dune follows the triangle nicely except for the "middle" part because the book is so long it is somewhat hard to pinpoint the middle.

For the Begining it would be the first book, Dune... It sets up the scene of the book it also introducses the main characters and sets up the conflict.

The middle section is harder to determine were it begins, but probally around the part were the Duke is killed and paul basically becomes leader and begins his journey. Mainly set in the 2nd and some of the 3rd book.

After the conflict is pretty much over witht the Harkoneans due to Paul's workings, the Ending begins. The conflict is finished and most loose ends are tied up in the book.
